Default Shure 215 Headphones Need 1/4 inch input

So I just bought some Shure 215 inear monitors after a good time deliberating and I realized (after I bought them, stupid, I know) that they have 1/8 inch inputs in order to plug into my S2 that I use for mixing I need a 1/4 inch output, is it possible for me to get some sort of adapter for it? Or is that not advised? Are these headphones not meant to be used for mixing? because I guess it's possible I got the wrong impression reading posts on the forum about them. I'm only confused because my last set of heaphones, meant specifically for DJ'ing came with an 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch adapter that it screws right into.

Any input would be helpful, thanks!

Oh alright, thanks! That's just what I was looking for, just a quick side question, does using an adapter like this cause any sort of loss in sound quality (I assume it would be very minor anyways, but still)? Pardon my ignorance.

They don't come with an adapter? Weird.

And no…it's 3 pieces of metal with insulation between them. I'd say there was a possibility of some crosstalk or something, but………uhh………cables exist.

They should have come with the adaptor. I personally wouldn't use them for mixing, only because I believe those are the single driver models, I could be wrong though. I think the 425's are the dual model. May want to look into that...

Yep those are single driver. They'll be nice headphones to listen to music on, but probably won't give you the detail you need for DJ'ing.

I was reading a post a while back comparing the 215's to the 315s and and it said that the 215s have a dynamic driver which is better than the 315's driver because it could produce a little better "oomph" for the bass. The comments on that post seemed to say that they would make pretty good headphones for mixing. I guess this is not the case?
