V interesting stuff all, good to hear the views and it does seem the article is coming from a stateside perspective. I guess (well it has) this has all been debated many times before, but I just found it interesting that a specific article has been written.
I wondered specifically how the US based DJ's who've put the hours in over the years view this? I know from my experience of the UK Garage explosion in 1997 and it's 'second coming' in 2000/2001 with 2-step how suddenly everyone wanted to be a UKG DJ/MC along with the ubiquitous pop Garage releases (see Mrs Beckham et al!).
20+ years man & boy, working the platters that matter. D3EP DJ.
