Yup already ordered. Bummer is my contacts inside my one tonearm are toast. I am trying to clean them up to make it work again, if not I may just replace the tone arm, it was really nick up with some heavy gouges to begin with so I may just have it as a spare.

ended up doing purple LEDs for the techs. Thank you no solder LED kits, so much easier. Only bummer is taking the platter on and off I accidently chipped some of the paint. So I'm going to probably get them powder coated instead.

So this one is basically done. I just have to fix the tone arm. I doing to try to document the other one.

How long did it take you to put the no solder kits in, whats the difference does it come with a PCB?

I was in and out in 2 hours and i had to solder everything

Im thinking about cutting a triangle out the 45 corner and permanantly putting my dicers in, not as good a job as someone else on here did but cut out the shape of the dicer, put it in and seal it with silicone, maybe have the usb port and link cable built into the side of the 1210

no solder kit takes like 30 mins to put in. The first time it take a little longer, to figure out everything. But the next time its crazy easy. Its almost idiot proof. Only thing is for the 33/45 buttons, if you put the screws in too hard the 45 button stays on, so you have to keep it semi loose.

Its comes with PCB, it literally comes with everything including screws to put it in.

But it takes a while to get from China. It actually would be worth trying to do a group buy sometime to get a bunch.

I would be anxious to see the result. Once you start cutting there is no turning back so make sure you are committed.

Yeah I agree, but can't be that hard. Trace the dicer, cut slightly smaller with dremel, then slowly grind out to fit. Finally smooth over then re paint.

But once you cut there is no going back! But if you bone it, you can always but a faceplate to cover it up!

True. There are also other things to consider such as grinding out the little bumps and grooves on the underside of the deck, and losing the corner screw under the foot. Also need to make sure you account for the 1/8" lip of the deck and you will loose your duct cover hinge where the Dicer mounts.

I say do it. Challenge yourself. The personal satisfaction of seeing it through will be reward enough.
