Hi Guys
Just wanted to say thanks to all of you who gave me advice with regards to which controller to buy!
My VCI 100 turned up yesterday and i gotta say its the nuts !!
The jog wheels are great to beat match with and found them nicer to mix with than the likes of cdjs!
Now i just got to play with it as i only spent an hour last night and mixed a few tracks and that was it!
Full digital djing is definitely the way forward!!!

i only have the LE version of Traktor, does that stil give you 4 decks or do i have to upgrade ?

Yeah just 2 decks in LE. Pro has 4 decks and theres a good Upgrade option from LE to PRO which knocks the price down quite a bit.
The VCI is the nuts init !

yeah i just uprgraded from LE for AU $200 (i had been using a cracked version fore sooome time by then) and its awesome. Have a look at some of the vids on this site for a little more insight

The problem i have is that i run a g5 imac - i cant upgrade to pro which sucks!!
going to buy a macbook pro hope within next month or so - then i can upgrade and start doing 4 decks mixing which will be the nuts !!

Yeah thats true and indeed it sucks. Make the upgrade when you get the MBP you will be glad you did. Dont bother with the cracked version it sucks (im bound to say that).

I wouldnt bother with the cracked version either!
The only time a crack version of anything has been good is my copy of REASON i have on my g5!
Anyway im sure i will have plenty to play with on LE for the time being as i have got to work out how to use it all!
Its strange - my set up looks bare now since selling 1210 - SSL - DJM 400, so im on the hunt for something else to go with my VCI100 and Fast track pro!
Not sure what to get yet, at some point i want to start doing some producing - once i get the MBP i will then get LOGIC and new version of REASON
