Also, I have to add that I by no means like what she's about or what she does. I just sort of feel like the music I like and that I play has nothing to do with her. The real music and I will be around long after her, so she doesn't bother me.

Paris didn't just DJ at your local bar with a bunch of yahoo's. She performed alongside people like Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, and Cobra Starship. Now, I'm not a huge fan of any of them, but I think the general population would agree that all of the aforementioned artists display at least one iota of talent over Paris Hilton.

DJ'ing isn't hard. Especially since she was only expected to mix, a pre-programmed set. You're giving her way too much of the benefit of the doubt.

She put on her page that she was going to keep digging through her crates, when she so clearly had a flash drive sticking out of her CDJ. What crate would that be, her thumb drive crate? Do you really want to defend her/that?

My biggest hangup isn't that I think she's a trollop. It's that she did this prematurely and looks like an even bigger trollop for doing so.

WTF is her publicist thinking? I've worked in publicity, and the common sense rule for her should be to build up credibility (which she so desperately needs) and you don't do that by "pretending to DJ". It's not that hard to learn some basic skills to make it more convincing...But having a guy do a "reach-around" is probably the most embarrassing thing to happen to someone performing a task that isn't that hard in the first place. Even if her objective was to "fake it" there are more convincing ways to "fake it".
