Probably because it was first talking about ways to fool traktor though the windows registry then someone came along and made a "tutorial" on how to get timecode control to work by just using a pirated version of traktor.

look at the original post date... all the hacking/piracy talk was posted years ago! it was only when someone bumped it recently that the thread got quietly locked, with no explanation... (not that I'm particularly bothered... just interesting that a thread that helps NI lose a sale gets locked in 2012 when it might not have done a few years back)

We temp closed it/unapproved it, that topic, eons ago. It somehow became visible/readable again. He closed it after talking this through with us mods.
(He was afraid people would start yapping, because he is NI moderator as well, I said him to just go for it. If people would start, they could always ask before passing judgement.
