It was cheaper to buy the pair, pre-mounted on Technics headshells from the U.S. than it was to buy just the carts in the U.K.

Can you change Automap to basically ignore the right side and use the rotaries for level/sends/etc. control while still using HUI (or whatever it uses)? After playing with my nanokontrol2, I've realized that a control surface without motorized faders and scribble strips really is a let down. Using endless encoders instead of faders would solve that problem (like the way Maschine works with Mackie Control emulation…except maschine doesn't do HUI and PT doesn't understand Mackie Control).

PT doesn't use Automap except on plugins. HUI controls the mixer section.

to be honest, I couldn't say, I've spent a total of 10 mins with it setting up Pro Tools.

Can't get enough of these headphones! Got them for $30 dollars off at Guitar Center and the more I use them the more I like them. They're great for producing at night when I cant use my KRK's and they've changed little in 20 years, but still are considered a standard so you know Sennheiser is doing something right.
