Exactly, the whole DJ Mag listing et rest has been hyped by... the DJ Mag itself, I guess.

EDM snob really has completely baseless information. Pretty much every time he post anything like this its actually complete B.S. Not to say DJ mag is relevant or anything, but he is correlating invoices from a DJs management for advertising to someone cheating the system. When in all those issues they those DJs also have advertisement for contest, and albums as well. Of course DJ mag is going to want to interview and write a write up about them when something new is being advertised. Its called effective marketing moron, when you buy an advertisement for something new you want the magazine to also do a feature on you. The magazine is happy to oblige because they are getting helping a business partner with their sales thus increasing their business. This is basic basic marketing, especially for magazines. I work with biotech magazines all the time and they do this alllllll the time. This moron keep spewing off facts without any real evidence other then invoices, which anyone who advertises in DJ mag has.

In addition if he knew anything about advertising, which he doesn't, he would know the invoice date doesn't necessarily mean its going to go into the next issue, or even the issue after that. It can take months to get into an issue. Therefore him just pinpointed the exact issue the invoice is correlated to is retarded.

I don't really give two shits about the DJ poll either but this EDM Snob guy is a joke, just looking for issues in the system to try to make a bigger name for himself. His information for the most point is never fact collected, nor is it vetted EVER. For instance his rise of EDM based on stats he got from the sky, he has still yet to show any relevant data to that at all.

    The guy is a joke.

A quick summary of the whole thing I wrote up this afternoon, including why I think the entire thing is stupid:
