Good luck with the new setup. I can't wait to see what you do with all those iPads.
Any idea with what you're doing with the old gear? I hope you work at least some of it into your setup. Hardware does add a bit of fun to a mix.
A camera connection kit, 2 midi to USB leads and 2 midi to midi adapters per iPad would be a hell of a lot cheaper than IODocks![]()
(and give the same functionality unless u want/need the extra ins and outs of the IODock)
I havent looked at pricing yet, but whats a camera connection kit, like whats included? And where can i buy one?
What about something like the Midi Mobilizer, or the iRig?
It's a USB port for the iPad![]()
Can be had for very much cheapness on Ebay or for much money from Apple for their version
Mine has a few other extras added on that the iPad coulda, shoulda, woulda had like a mini USB port, VGA out and some mem card readers. The newer ones have HDMI out now I believe.
ohhhhhhhh so basically i get 2 of those Camera Connections which converts the 30pin Standard Ipad usb to regular USB, then i get 2 usb cables that go from the Camera Connection kit to my Macbook?
And the sound would come thru the mixer which is hooked up to my Audio 8 correct?
Since all the ipads do are control traktor

Don't think the iRig is what you want.
The Midi Mobilizer adds midi ports to the iPad but it's still expensive imo and you still need to get that midi signal into the computer.
