    Good luck with the new setup. I can't wait to see what you do with all those iPads.
    Any idea with what you're doing with the old gear? I hope you work at least some of it into your setup. Hardware does add a bit of fun to a mix.

    Im not one to keep my old equipment But i will think about ways to implement more tactile equipment

    A camera connection kit, 2 midi to USB leads and 2 midi to midi adapters per iPad would be a hell of a lot cheaper than IODocks
    (and give the same functionality unless u want/need the extra ins and outs of the IODock)

    It's a USB port for the iPad

    Can be had for very much cheapness on Ebay or for much money from Apple for their version
    Mine has a few other extras added on that the iPad coulda, shoulda, woulda had like a mini USB port, VGA out and some mem card readers. The newer ones have HDMI out now I believe.

    ohhhhhhhh so basically i get 2 of those Camera Connections which converts the 30pin Standard Ipad usb to regular USB, then i get 2 usb cables that go from the Camera Connection kit to my Macbook?

    And the sound would come thru the mixer which is hooked up to my Audio 8 correct?

    Don't think the iRig is what you want.
    The Midi Mobilizer adds midi ports to the iPad but it's still expensive imo and you still need to get that midi signal into the computer.
