So prove it? You say they've progressed your career? Post up your DJ soundcloud, facebook, twitter, logo, whatever. The company helps you with that kind of stuff that "you don't have time for" remember? Post a picture of a flyer with your name on it, ANYTHING.

Amazing thread. If anyone didn't think they were a scam before, they certainly do now. As with the others though, I'm willing to be proven wrong, so post any VERIFIABLE evidence that this company is legit. If you can't do that, then nobody has reason to believe a word you say.

let's look at the facts about you:
    - You, with no previous posts, show up the first following business day, or in just enough time for this post to get indexed on a search engine and fire off a google alert, as the first person with anything positive to say, reciting something sounding a lot like a press release but offering absolutely no specifics about who you are, where you've gotten gigs, etc.
    - Your post not only includes press-release worthy sap, but also a personal plea to 'keep negative commentary about the company off the internet.' This is probably because this thread is google search result #4 when you pop DN4Djs into it. This also falls perfectly in line with our friend receiving calls to take down the thread.

And some facts we know about the company:
    - A few people here have legit complaints with your company, which seem to go in line with the 'scam' angle.
    - They charge artists to be managed up-front, which is a not-very-common business model by my experience, especially with no guarantee of success.
    - They claim to have been around for years but their domain, twitter and other assorted social media accounts spun up in February of this year.

I don't have a warped agenda, I have a firey hatred for scams and in particular really distrust companies that dispatch agents to float fake positive reviews rather than fix their image through actual changes in their behavior. I'd prefer people not get taken advantage of (as is obviously happening per previous remarks in this thread) and I am a little amazed that you would consider my skepticism about that business model 'shady', though again, as an agent of DN4 it's likely you're just speaking out of hurt.

If there are actual, quantifiable, distinct positive experiences you've had with DN4, then air them. Cite specific gigs. Give details. Otherwise I'm going to continue to disbelieve you loudly.

i mean, i'm not saying I know anything. i'm saying all this going on right now is shady as hell and i'm getting more and more skeptical that there's any truth in it. i'd be glad to be proven wrong.
The only thing that put down was missing was "yo mamma"!

I was approached by these jokers a while back and I think it was because I replied to ad for dj's wanted in gumtree.com (thought id wouldn't hurt) I was called by this guy on the phone and immediately after i was sent an email with the contract and only made aware upon reading about the 400 odd quid charge and he then told me in a following phone call that that was for artist management and not DJ booking and that i should email the sender for a DJ booking agency.
2/3 months later I have still heard nothing and have checked the website since and noticed the events flyers have also changed - they have just put up a load of bull**** flyers of very old random events - which some of them i know for a fact they have had nothing to do with as I have worked under the same promoters and know they do not use any agency at all....stay clear!
