Aux channels with no eq or faders are a waate
Looks Way to big to be a scratch mixer I would like.

Im putting my money on a scaled down HID mixer ala s4/s2 to go with the x1 & f1 like what everyone else is saying. No timecode (which would be unfortunate)
I like this game of guessing, so here's my take :
- IF (and that is a big if) it has a sound card inside, then it probably is also stand alone
- IF it has an audio interface it will be the equivalent to the Audio 6.
- If they want to have it priced lower than an S2, it has no sound card.
- It's a two channel (midi) mixer, that is the least hard to guess. The cross fader is in the middle, and you only see one line fader.
- It has at least 3 encoders (loop x2 + browse), but no more than 5 (loop x2 + browse + another 2).
- It probably is taller than the rest of the line of controllers (i hope so)
- If it's not taller, that means there is no gain knob, so :
- If there is no gain knob, it won't be a stand alone mixer, only midi.
- There is no Fx controls aside the fx assign, even then i wouldn't hold my breath (after all that why the X1 exists, for you to buy them, wink wink).
- It will use NI proprietary hid.
- That means a new update is coming (2.5.2).
- The colored buttons we can see mean that in the upcoming update we will be able to assign color to cue points.
- They will probably be able to control the first row of a remix deck (maybe, but this is like for the no fx onboard, the F1 exist for that purpose, so i'm really not sure).
- If it's just a midi controller, 250/300 eur.
- If it also has a sound card, 350 eur.
- If it's also a stand alone mixer, 400 and up depending on the features relatives to the stand alone mixer (removable faders add to costs, so do connexions, psu, etc...)
I personally hope that it's "only" a midi mixer, that you can replace the cross fader, that it has fx assign, that it has a gain knob AND a filter knob, and that it's around 300 euros.
macbook pro, technics trntbl, numark pro sm-1, vestax pmc 08 pro, traktor scratch pro 2, akai mpd 24, novation nocturn, vci-100 fw1.4, krk rp5g2 and FBV express mk2
hopefully a jogless traktor all-in-one controller
I like the idea of a 2-channel battle mixer, with remix deck control, and navigation buttons.
But - why only 2 channels? Why not 4? 2 decks and 2 remix decks???
