If you have an F1 you can map this without a footswitch.
The Filter On knobs send out hold messages when not at 0.

    Map to Filter.1.On:
Flux Mode On > Button > Hold
    Select/Set+Store Hot Cue (8) > Button > Hold
Delete Hot Cue (8) > Direct
I picked hotcue 8 as it's least likely to be filled.
This can be mapped to any filter on knob, I just chose filter 1.

I don't have Scratch but I stopped playback with the mouse - oneapemob says control vinyl works so it should work.

Yeah, the Cue Point Flux Scratch was the closest I got.

But it needs more work (by me) to get all the commands together.

I did not try creating a Cue and then jumping to it on hold and scratching.

I did it in one go...

Will try that and mess about!

    Thanks for the input bro!

Yeah the issue is Timecode vinyls.

Using a mouse is still ON and OFF, click and let go.

You dont have that with Timecode Vinyls, thus the footswitch.

So it will be sending different commands...will check it out tho.

Is it still worth upgrading even though there is this issue? Can't remember what version I'm using but it's nice and stable. Don't want agro. Got an important gig in 2weeks?
It's not the gear. It's how you use it.
limitations are the source of creativity.
If you don't practice you don't want it.

Nah man I was just showing that flux mode stays on without having to hold a button (or footswitch)
You turn the filter knob and it turns flux on, sets a cuepoint and acts as if you were holding the cue button down (so it stays in flux mode)
BUT, you need an F1 to get it to work..

How do you release then? Without removing your hand from the vinyl and other hand from the fader?

No No....there is nothing 'wrong' with this release....its very stable (from the 6 hour jam I did on Sat) and the Fluxmode works sweetly with Cue Juggling etc.

Its just 'slipscratch' that we are trying to get working.

Its not a CDJ....so the functionality is not directly there. We will have to map and create it.

Now, we are trying to map it and figure out which commands will use.

So far...we stumped. Still have some testing to do....so lets see.

    You don't
You'd have to quicky flick the filter off with one hand. But you can let go, start and stop the vinyl without it exiting flux mode.

A foot pedal would work better but this is a workaround for those that don't have one, but have an F1.

    SWEET!
Thanks, gonna test it this weekend!

Will give the feedback on how it goes!
