I disagree. The feel of the 850s is great, but browsing is a pain in the ass. If you use them with SSL, they act exactly like they do with a USB stick with every feature perfectly emulated and great resolution, but you can use your laptop to browse and you get visible waveforms. The 400s on the other hand feel cheap and have jogwheels no better than a £200 controller. If you want the feel of a full size CDJ but don't have the cash to get the browsing abilities of a 2000 or Nexus, 850s with HID + software is a good solution.

I totally agree with that, i was talking about the buying only one cdj. i have something against unsymmetrical setups.

Yeh one CDJ is not a setup that's gna be satisfying in the long term.

I'm sick of asking the question but is there any news on the CDJ 850 HID when it comes to Traktor?
http://soundcloud.com/squirec Mixes mainly containing funky/disco/chicago/swing house. Although, there's always room for a little something different.
    Equipment: 15" Macbook Pro (Mid 2012), Traktor Pro 2, Traktor Kontrol X1, Pioneer CDJ 1000 Mk2 x 2, Pioneer DJM 700, Sennheiser HD25 Mk2 headphones.

No, and i'm pretty pissed off about that. This should have been implemented a LONG time ago. Such bullshit.
