3. Overall just a huge fan of bass music spanning various genres. I produce glitch hop, dubstep, trap, hip hop and like to dj/perform those tunes as well as tunes from other producers that fit into the sound I am going for at the time. The flow of music seems to just keep growing from all corners!

Been doing music with Ableton Live for a few years now. Absolutely love using it as it has become the DAW I am most comfortable with. Pair that up with a recently obtained NI Maschine and the good times just don't stop!

Hello, all. Long time reader, first time poster.


1. My name is David Michael, and I sometimes DJ under the alias "The Snark" (my real name was already taken on Beatport when I had a release a few years ago).

2. I'm from Dayton, OH.

3. I love playing anything with an infectious groove. Depending on the event and venue in question, I might play deep house, techno, jazz, nu-disco, progressive house, or even some (real) hip-hop.

I also started a website, PassionateDJ.com. It is basically a blog which focuses on becoming a better DJ through passion and purpose, and the more psychological aspects of DJing.

Glad to be part of the community, here. I have been on the site many times over the past few years, but never really got on the forums. I met Ean Golden a few months ago on the CNTRL tour and he was a super nice dude. Glad to support forward-thinking people in our scene.
