Which custom timecode makers are your referring to?

Where did you get this story from?

Traktor Timecode is copyrighted. No-one is allowed to press it without a licence. Seems pretty fair and obvious to me.

I'll probably take a look at it...But I'm not really going to switch away from Traktor lightly...Maybe I am just vain, but I want cool colored vinyl. Is it necessary, NO. I just want it. Purely aesthetic purposes.

You could maybe get a custom-made vinyl if you're that desperate?

Not really desperate, just annoyed and hoping that there was a resource or something that someone knew about that would be of help...but if it is copyrighted by NI, then that limits the ability of 3rd party sources to provide that unless they are licensed by NI. I know there is the Slow Roasted Scratchy Seals & Bully Breaks with Traktor time code on side B...but that seems to be the only option as far as i can tell.

http://www.turnstylerecords.com/ Dubplates are amazing and can come in many colors.

Wont get more than a couple hundred plays tho. And yes no one is pressing custome traktor vinyl anymore. Its too much of an expensive investment tot ake the risk on being sued or receiving a cease order from NI and have a bunch of backstock.

Thanks, but not interested in dub plates for time code...maybe for some of my tracks....something to consider.

Have you tried VHT vinyl dye? I dont know how well it will work but ya could always give it a shot. Personally I have clear vinyls that I removed the center label off of. We used to sell custom slipmats through the site so I uused a couple that have my logo on them. When people take pics it looks like picture vinyl.
