Let me ask you something. On your BEST day at work, what did you accomplish? Do you really think you're qualified to judge "failure" based on that experience? Because I don't think being a mid-market DJ juggling a couple residencies gives you any insight into product design, manufacturing, or production. That "comically failing" company you're talking about currently has the best selling non-powered mixer on the market (digital or analog), owns it's own factory and is currently building another one, and is easily the 3rd biggest company in M.I. In the last 2 years they bought Midas and Turbosound, and more Audio Precision audio analyzers than any other single company in the world.
I'm not sure that kind of growth constitutes a failure.
CMD is later than we wanted it to be. But this isn't the cure for cancer or anything. It's a gadget. We'll release them when they're ready. I can say that we're very close, and that's either good enough for you or it's not. In either case, I think Behringer will be just fine.
^rather have a produkt that function than a too early released buggy product.
i have a bit of experience from industries, market and productreleases. theres alot of shit that can hit the fan.
In the store i were working at last year we started to pre-sale a audio pro airplay speaker in june, was supposed to be released in august. it came 20 dec due to apple had to approve the license for airplay which they had outsourced to another company.
Don't forget, folks. We're just ONE forum. We're not the entire market for the line. When these units DO drop, they'll be FLYING off the shelf in stores near you.
They're bundled with Deckadance 2 (this is HUGE point) - and Deckadance 2 has got a LOT of us looking up and taking notice!
Behringer will be better than fine. They're THE company making what we do affordable. DJ'ing is fun - dropping $1k for Pio gear is NOT. This Behringer gear is priced PERFECTLY in my opinion, and that is what will attract customers. Behringer will have the newb and intermediate DJ's flocking to buy these units.
I got nothing but love for Behringer.

Whoa. Harsh much?
I gotta say, I can see both sides of the argument here... nobody's doubting what a massive undertaking pushing out a new - completely original - product line is, I think now it's just the "they've shipped..." / "we're not sure when they'll be out" thing that's comical to some.
Worthy a ban
