It was offensive to Chinese people. He wrote "chinese children" not just "children".

Ok then, let's pick at the exploiting an ethnic group thing rather than the exploiting an age group thing (though why would one be more offensive than the other...?)- in which I repeat exactly the same point:

You think he was seriously suggesting we exploit the chinese to make toys? Call me crazy but I'd say it was a joke.

edit: And even if it was serious how is saying that chinese workers can quickly produce hardware an insult...? He said they are industrious and hardworking? I'm shocked and appalled.

Well clearly partylike1369 was the one who reported the post, and considering how the ONLY thread he's posted in on this forum is this one, I'm guessing he's a Behringer employee. I assume he didn't like my humorous insinuation that Foxconn could bring them to market quicker than Behringer, and is just using the "insulting to Chinese people" thing as an excuse.

I could believe that. I'm not sure which is more depressing though- censoring harmless jokes or censoring cheeky digs at a corporation...

Look on the bright side; in a few months time we might all be using a Voxoa VMD DC-2 or something.

Why so sure? Clearly there are few mods already reply in this thread and don't forget that guys at HQ are always taking care over the forum.

Never heard of Voxoa before. I'm looking through their website I see all the usual OEM stuff but also a few unique (I think) things that actually look kinda interesting.

    I wanna try out these:

    http://www.voxoa-pro.com/products.ph...kind=12&pid=78
    http://www.voxoa-pro.com/products.ph...kind=12&pid=40
    http://www.voxoa-pro.com/products.ph...kind=14&pid=67

And speaking of DVS interfaces (and mixers with DVS interfaces) where's the Behringer CMD Audio4DJ already? :P
