Don't worry about messing up, you can just cut it in a video editor and splice it together. the BrainDeaD DDJ-SX video was done in this way and that convinced most people that it was done in one take and made the SX and BrainDead look absolutely phenomenal, until someone noticed continuity errors.

Yeah, I'm slicing bits together but I'm not really happy with any of it... Thankfully my standards are dropping by the day.

Reckon the range will be out before your review?

Looking forward to it, quite keen on them.

It's not the gear. It's how you use it.

Well guys, here is my humble CMD DC-1 video at last. Brought to you by a $39 digital camera, screen capture software, Deckadance 2, Behringer and me. Man it's hard making decent videos for cheap. I had to redo this thing about 12 times. I hope you guys enjoy it.

Cool video dude. This might be a noob question but how do you add effects to just the high, mids, or lows. Are you just killing the highs and lows to just effect the mids or is there some midi mapping trickery. Thanks dude!

It's a deckadance feature- There's buttons in the FX section for each frequency band so you can control which bands the FX is applied to

As Mr Popinjay expalined, it is a software feature. It applies the effects to the chosen frequency while letting you hear the other frequencies as normal.
