    Hah, very true.

mix vibes is pretty awesome, I had the cross dvs package back when it was still new. the whole idea behind it was that traktor and serato are too expensive for people who will only use it for transporting there music. it was geared for people who already had a club standard setup and didnt need any effects or beatgrids or any of those extras.

recently they introduced there own controller and started optimizing the workflow towards controllerism. they have also added effects and beatgrids and a few other things.

honestly you cant really compare cross to traktor. traktor can just do so many things and it can do them so damn well. but if your just looking for a simple dvs and you dont really need any of the traktor effects then it definitely worth it.

Cheers, just seen v2.0 about to be released if not already with some promising stuff.

Getting a bit tired of traktor, been a loyal customer and with the new packages which has no benefit for old customers, just for the masses of new people. It's a business at the end of the day i guess.

Thinking about it what's the sound quality and latency + stability like with mix vibes?

@Zimfellas OT, mixxx supports timecode, and will work with traktors vinyl as well as the serato AFAIK. You still need a soundcard to plug the decks into, so if you have that, pick up the free copy of mixxx, and remember that what you can do on traktor will blow doors on mixxx.

Reviving an old thread. Since the new version of mixvibes is out, has anyone made the jump to it?
