And this is why /r/DJs is infinitely better than this forum. But a traditional forum can still function pretty well... They just need good moderators. Nearly all of the ones on here are the textbook "mallcop moderator".

This is why there is so rarely meaningful conversation on here compared to other forums. Everything that can be discussed without being crushed has already been said a billion times.

These are some pretty direct and very generalized statements. Would you care to provide some examples? I'd also be interested to know why you continue to be part of a community staffed by poor moderators where there is no ability to discuss anything?

That ban was a long time coming. This guy has been a cancer on this forum for a long time. Multiple incarnations, more pejorative with each "rebirth" and frankly, with little to add.

I personally went through all 105 posts from octostout and found little more than put downs, argumentative comments for argument's sake, offensive language and new user bashing.

If that behavior is cool with you then I'm genuinely sorry for you. Next time, please man up and just use your real nick.
