As mentioned, only for creating samples for the remix deck, you can adjust the sample you want to copy by applying effects, cutting frequencys etc, or if its some rhythm loop made up of a couple of decks.

I mostly use it for tracks where there is a long break.

I used to try and set up on the fly remixes for BPM transitions by recording cue point juggling and dragging the loops into my remix decks, but have had a lot of trouble not being able to "count in" and more or less gave up.
Any tips? I was thinking about leaving the first pass-through blank and then overdubbing on top of that, but I'm paranoid of losing fidelity.
Not really as i have an F1 and a maschine for making bits and pieces. It would be cool if theres a mapping that changes the knob to key control and the four buttons underneath select the deck, making vastly different BPM transitions a bit easier (vocal loop, turn into really low key, stutter then release slower track, something i was messing around with the other day)

I've been reading up on the loop recorder. Sound slke a nice little functions.
I'm trying to figure out how you store a loop, either from the loop recorder, or from a loop on a track deck, to the Remix Slots WITHOUT using the mouse.
Anyone figured out how to do this?

No worries, just don't forget to assign corresponding slot and deck target![]()
