words from another graphics designer; the square one has a more logo kinda feel to it, its classy and timeless. and the detail in the D, where you can see that its actually all made of pixels, just makes the logo even more techy, retro and cool. The font in the round one is a little too futuristic i think, one of those fonts that might look cool now, but in a few years...

I made the square one because of the above ^ reasons. They both work... round one is nice and I dont mind if its chosen, but as pretty much all of the people on the forum who are designers (of some kind) have stated the 2nd is more resolved+timeless as a logo...

+ the thing about design + democracy if thats how it was supposed to be the internet would look like it did back in '98. 1/2 our job is convincing the client that we are right.... a fukin hard task sometimes.

As for the retro thing, its coming back in HARD at the moment. Mad 80's revival. Anyone listened to any Electro atm, all a bout the 8-Bit amples n retro gaming, we should RIDE THAT 8-BIT PIXELATED WAVE BABY!

I'm not just trying to pimp my design here as I do like both, but I think in terms of professional finish the 2nd is more resolved -As a Logotype-

But yeah, democracy will win the day here i think...

(also sorry everyone for my lack of presence on the board recently i've been slaaaammmmed at my new job, building out new site up in 2 days ><)

One of the projects we did a while back was blow up a battleship for a promotion!! How fukin cool is that.

I've had no nets at home for the past like... month so thats why the lack of MSN teks, will back back online again in a few days i hope!
