    Mate play HAVOC with them. Tell them that you are having issues with the MBP that are not connected to the battery and get them to replace the logic board as well.

    God forbid that the logic board goes tits up and Apple claim that this happens a lot less than it used to but they do go after about 3-4 years so if you get it replaced you are golden for another 3 years.

    I have had the logic board replaced just before my Apple Care runs out on my 2 previous MBPs and my 2009 is still going strong.

    Seriously, they go after such little time? Mines a late 2009, bought it as a refurbished unit, I have 3 months apple care left. How much would a logic board cost for one of it was to go outside of my warranty?Jesus I thought I'd be buying a machine that would last me many years she I parted with £1499 3 years ago..
