For making beats, the MPC elements is great for the price. You could just export the audio, and use it in Serato.

Not sure if you can sync the two softwares together for live beat making though. Does the sound card you are using have midi in/outs?

I use a mixtrack pro 2 so i do not have an external sound card

can you upload whole tracks onto a mpd to like one pad? then play it and make beats over it?

I do not need an external and yes i can upload tracks to a single pad.
