    2 REALLY good examples are:

    DJ Scene - 2080's
    DJ Scene - 2080's Part 2

    I used to absolutely LOVE DJ Scene. But most of his recent stuff has been "Las Vegasized". He's doing really well out there - but the stuff he plays now is so different to the 2080's mixes...

    smooth mixes, the only EFX i use are filter, delay, and if i happen to be using traktor, i love the echo freeze.

    at least 64 bar transitions, and i play like 4 or 5 house tunes and then drop an old known disco tune in there.

    This mix right here is a shining example of excellent track selection track selection with no EFX.

    yeah the synth in that first Earth Wind and Fire song always gives me chills, and you know its gonna be a good mix!
