Is setting up a dj controller into a club mixer as easy as a rca to rca from controller to mixer? And the bar i dj at thats the case, but this mixer is a pioneer 800 a lot more advanced?

It's the same, just go into a line in on the 800.

Yes just set the gain level on which ever channel on the mixer you use. Make sure it's not clipping. Also make sure the djm800 cross fader is set to thru, As this could lower your volume if you accidentally move it.
