Louis Chancellor's Setup

I just picked up the A&H Xone 42 the other night. I pretty much stole it from the guy lol.
I am now extremely happy with this setup. I use the X1mk2 for track decks that I route to channels 1 and 4, and I use the X1mk1 for the sample decks routed to channels 2 and 3. I am only using an A6 but a couple of Y adaptors made this work quite nicely for me. I finally think I have the setup that I am going to run with for a number of years to come, as there is literally nothing else I can fit into my workflow, or that I feel I am missing.

I've got the same speaker stands (as in your last pic) for my KRK's - have you considered picking up some black Velcro cable ties? I picked up a pack of 20 for about £5 off of Amazon and it allows you to hide the cables down the back of the speaker stands without noticing the ties- plus they are Velcro so if you want to take them off they simply unfasten.

I use these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fisual-Chunk...MRTTF2CRZPYS9K with those stands but the bottom section of the stand is at the limits of their length so longer ones might be better.

Personal preference of course, but those speaker cables would itch my mild OCD!

How are you running the turntables to the computer with the S2 as a mixer? I thought only the s4 was compatible with turntables ?? Really curious

You can do it if you have an TA 4/6/8/10 soundcard. You simply use the S2 as you would any other mixer.

Nice setups. Just wondered - what were your thoughts on the Xone 32 and what were your main reasons for going up to the 42 (was it mainly the extra channel or somethings else ?)
