Yea, some of those mixes are straight up messy.

I've heard the quick drops and cutting a lot at Mysteryland, it was very good there. Kill the Noise, DVBBS, and Flosstradamus really like it. I think if used well, it sounds great, but it's pretty difficult to always time perfectly (IMO).

I do believe that is a skrillex remix of nrg by ducksauce

I lasted about 5 minutes ... All the warning signs were there though, anything that uses #EDM should be permanently wiped from the internet.

Is it just me, but don't hear anything new whatsoever ? More of the same ol' usual shite thats been doing the rounds the past few years with the same hight pitched hoover synth at every buildup. Skip though the breaks and it may as well be the same track on repeat.

Incidentally the first track was "ok" kinda Justice'y and non-offensive beyond that Meh! and more Meh!

The first track was Duck Sauce remixed by Skrillex and like 5 other guys, so with that much input it was guaranteed they'd hit something gold at some point.

This is like...A megamix for those of the attention deficit disorder generation. I can see 19 year old girls with too much makeup loving this though.

I dont know, but this new stuff is taking the southeastern US by storm.

I am hearing mixes where guys are just dropping 20 BPM at a time, not even halving the BPM just cutting tracks..??

It seems like this style is tailored to please the masses.... Anyone else hearing this where they are??

I heard ATRAK and Diplo play live and it seems like there are kind of the forerunners of this new genre, signing alot of artists with this new sound.

Listen to this mix, I'm actually a big fan of the first and second song.

Fair play to all of you who listened to it - my ears started divorce proceedings the minute I read the track list.

Instantly made me not want to listen to it. Still really no idea what Moombah is, but I'm going to hazard a guess that nits shit, and trap well you dont need to say anything.

Mix them all together and you get some bastardized form of "music" and I say music in the loosest of terms.

And I thought I was overly critical. Good to know my ears still work.
Not my thing... But, I've heard worse
