Because people can just bring USBs to the festival instead of lugging around controllers. CDJs are just the standard at the moment. It might change in the future.

I use Pioneer CDJs with Serato.

When I started DJing I used Virtual DJ, then I went to Traktor for a bit, and now I only use Serato and I like it the most. Don't know why, I just do. It does the job. They all do, but I guess I like the layout of Serato more than Traktor.

Yup! CDJs, HID, Serato. That's my setup. I wish there was a way to import Serato playlist to Rekordbox, or vice versa. So just in case, I have a rekordbox playlist if my laptop crashes... Off topic, but is that possible?
