Default Soooo... I got my Midi Fighter 3D. Having some problems.

I ~had~ a Spectra, it's side panel buttons were malfunctioning so I sent it in and exchanged for a 3D. It's nice, I like the feel... however, I really do wish there was some way of "rotating" the button field, like... go into the configuration utility for the 3D and literally "rotate." That way I could have the plug at the top or the side, and not in the way sticking out of the bottom.

I realize the creators probably intended for the plug to come from the bottom for a reason, same as why they chose to have the wire come out the bottom on the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller. But for me, in the place it is right now, it's a nuisance. I'd very much like it if there was a firmware update that allowed the utility software to "rotate" your button field.

I can rotate the device physically, but without being able to do so
in software as well, I have to modify my sample triggering style,
and I am far too used to the way I was doing before with the Spectra.

    Other issues I am experiencing:

Whenever I am using the MF3D in Propellerheads Reason, pressing the first button makes the AMP knob in Dr. Rex or whatever I am working in shoot up, canceling out the sound of that note. Rather annoying, and never happened for me on the Spectra (I got my MF to be used more as a drum pad than as a DJ controller, like an MPD18 but with arcade buttons, I know, pretty mundane use for such a controller, huh).

Turning the MF3D changes my pitch settings in Dr. Rex... an undesired effect, so does pressing the side buttons, but that happened on the Spectra too, so I'm not really surprised by that one. What I am rather agitated about is that I cannot truly disable the side buttons, tilting or any feature except for the "4 Bank" switches (which I actually want to keep on), and the color effects / animations. It's annoying to be told I have the ability to ''disable'' a button or feature when I actually don't.

I don't want the face buttons changing parameters, I just want them to trigger drums and samples. Given that the Utility says "disable" and has checkmarks next to things, I ~should~ be able to set those things to "disable" and have them actually ~be~ disabled.

Itīs not an easy solution like "rotating" the whole midi layout, but you could simply remap your controls to fit to your preferred rotation.
