Lots of custom mappings on here that a search would probably find. Check the user mapping thread sticky for starters.

Is there not a place in the Midi Fighter utility where I can just change all the mappings for stuff on my own (by that I mean, hard change, like the whole "send to" thing in Utility), something like the input section in Traktor?
Sure would be nice if I could change the button arrangement on my MF3D so that the plug comes out of the top instead of the bottom, yes, I can rotate the device physically, but then my notes would all be going Right to Left / Top to Bottom, instead of Left to Right / Bottom to Top, like it was before on the MF Spectra...
Having it this way is kind of obnoxious, due to the cord.
I preferred this... but my Spectra stopped working and
you guys stopped making them, so I had no other choice
but to trade it in for a MF 3D since that's all that is left.
Really wishing there was a "rotate button field" option
that would literally just allow you to rotate the field of notes,
like rotating an image in Adobe Photoshop.
Also kind of sucks that the "disable" option / checkboxes
beside stuff in the Utility don't ~actually~ disable stuff,
except for the animations and rainbow 'idle' mode.
I tried to "disable" the side buttons and the tilt features
because they keep messing with my pitch in Dr. Rex in Reason,
but even if I turn them off in the Utility, it still doesn't disable.
I also tried to do the same to the side buttons on the Spectra when
they started to behave erratically (which was the reason I sent it in).
But of course, I could not ~actually~ disable them...

Way to bring up an old thread.
Also your question was answered in the Midi Fighter subforum in the other thread you posted.
What you will need to do is change the mapping so that the buttons used will be in the orientation you want.
