Just to be sure, are your MIDI in/out ports set for K2 or to all ports? Also do you have other controllers connected?

Nope only controller, only USB device. And set to K2 for both in/out
I feel bad not to have one to test and see for myself... Can't believe we're still running circles here.
So after some playing. It seems it is the Xone K2 that is causing the issue. On button push dealing with Outs, the k2 sends an OFF message.
Therefore I can get the correct behavior if i set three outputs
Effect Select 1 > Color Note > Control Range 1 - 1, 2 - 2, 3 - 3 etc
on a button that is DIFFERENT than the one I am trying to change the color on, and the LED changes correctly as intended (I can make it blink, reverse it, do whatever I originally intended)
Anyone have any idea on how to get around this? As it seems its a problem on the hardware level.
If all that script is doing is stopping the note off command from being sent, then you can do that with the free version of bomes (the classic version). I've gotta feeling it's doing other stuff as well though from looking at the log in the video.... I have a k2 so if I get chnace I'll have a play around with it.

Hey I know its been really long but, has there been a solution to this problem, just got a k2 and suffering with led feed back.
I would also like to know if anyone here is aware of some simple midi in/out screening app. Ive tried a few and can't wrap my head around them.. just looking for something simple.
