It occurred to me - what's to stop most of the DJs on this service from just having a selection of pre-recorded sets that they just hit play and walk away? Why would they actually do a "live" set in this case?

The thing is you can watch big headliner DJs live almost every day of the year for free between the "big" edm networks already.
I don't know, DJing is already fake enough with pre-recorded sets, I try and avoid those djs already. So I really doubt I would ever go see a live stream of a DJ.
I guess some people can enjoy it, there are millions of people who sit and watch concerts on TV. So there is a market I guess.
