    Yes tried all the above looks like a cable fault checked with a meter and theirs a problem with the one cable need to open it up to make sure .

    if you're handy with a soldering iron, its a straightforward process to replace the cable

    haven't ruined a tonearm in the 15+ years I've DJ'd

    I've replaced three of them. I've had five 1200s over the last 20 years. The local 1200 repair guy said it's the #1 thing he has to fix.

    If the contacts corrode they'll get stuck inside of the tonearm and you loose a channel, be careful!.

    EDIT my current pair is 8 old only and the tonearms are still pristine without ever doing the lick!

    relax its just your RCA cords. it will cost 50 bucks to fix don't screw around with it. if you want you can get under the tone arm by taking the turntable apart.

    Got it fixed bad connection inside the rca plug .
