The SX's mapping imports like 6 tsi files.

Why can't it fit in one?
I think I vaguely remember a mates tsi for his sx. It had like 5 or six layers. I think I'll download the tsi of the pioneer site and see how many layers it is and how functional it is.

Liking the spec on your MBP Mostapha. Very nice machine. I've got my old dell Inspiron 1720 going. Upgraded an additional hard drive to 1tb. And dual booted it on win 8. Still only got 4gb of ram and a processor with clock speed of only 2.1 ghz. Traktor runs like a dream still. Lol. Can rinse the effects and still have multiple decks going. Thought an ssd would give it a good boost.

I might see if there's anyway of getting everything onto one file.

Ssds are worth it to me, just not for that particular reason. Fwiw, this machine is overkill for traktor. It was kitted like that for music and virtualization. But, yeah....traktor at 128 samples latency runs great.

128 is pretty tight but with a machine that spec I would expect it. I always run it 512 for both the a10 and the twitch I have. Never had any problems. I have it at that just to be on the safe side. Just don't like it crashing. Which in fairness it never does.

Finally got round to checking out the DDJ-SX2 traktor mapping off the pioneer site. Imported it into traktor and it took over a minute. No surprise really as its a beast of a file, Over 10 meg in size. In total there are 14 layers. The only time it freezes is when going between each one which again freezes up for a bout a minute. Once changed though amending the layer is fine and not laggy so I can live with that. I'm definately going to buy the SX2 to will give some feedback once it's up and running which won't be until after crimbo as it's my new toy courtesy of the better half!! LOL. I'm going to see if I can make that TSI smaller too.
