Hey all,

I realize it's really tough to get followers on Soundcloud and Facebook, which sucks because a strong social media presence can really bolster your chances of getting a gig. So here's what I propose: A thread where people can post links to their Soundcloud/Facebook/other pages, and in return for members liking/following them, the original poster will do the same.

Let's try it.

I know this might seem disingenuous to some, but we are all part of the DJTT community, so why not help each other out? I feel better getting a follow from fellow DJs than I do friends who have no interest in what I do anyway.

I'd mistrust promoters booking people based on their social media presence. Wrong priorities, imho.

Promoters aren't the only people who book DJs. I don't care much about LinkedIn, but just about everyone looks at it when considering someone for a job (recruiters, or otherwise).
