Most of walking, or bouncing baselines.
Other's have sampled piano/organs.
Most have a type of drop.
Sounds like dance music; not music for introspection.

Like most genres, there is debate about the boundaries of each and the resulting sociomusicolect. Currently, there is some ambiguity with Deep House because:
Within [Deep House] there is both {Deep Melodic Progressive House} and {G House}.

if the current definition doesn't match the historical it's wrong. this music is different, not bad (i like it), however it's just not deep.

If you've been into deep house for 20 years and suddenly people were calling totally different music "deep house" simply because it's tempo is slower you'd probably see where I'm coming from.

But nevertheless some good tunes in the G-house territory. I like to play them on some occasions

Been playing a lot of this lately because I don't play straight hip hop, but do play plenty of house and deep house. It helps keep people happy with a compromise.

I was heavily into G-House for a while, not so much anymore. The masters of G-House, like Kolombo, Amine Edge, Sharam Jey, and LouLou Players, did an excellent job of popularizing it, but the quality has suffered since.
