Traktor S4 Audio Into Ableton Track
Hey first post,
I have one mac osx computer running traktor pro 2 with an S4. The midi out of the S4 is going into the midi IN of a Focusrite 2i4, which is plugged via USB into
another mac osx computer running ableton. I have the midi clock syncd from traktor into ableton ok, because when I change the tempo in traktor Ableton's midi clock responds accordingly.
How do I get the audio from deck A into a track in ableton and the audio from deck B onto a different track in ableton?
I have my input device in Ableton selected as the 2i4.
Thanks for any help ahead of time.

Ableton on the Same Computer as Traktor?? Use SoundFlower.
Soundflower give you the multi in outs... you set that as your Audio card and set Traktor to Mix in External Mixer mode. Then assign the Audio outs In Traktor from Soundflower and make the Audio inputs the same from SoundFlower. You could even sync midi clocks if you want. Then in Ableton you can set your master out to the S4 controller out.
Getting the Audio from One Computer to another Computer use AULAB and the Netsender function. (Not tried it don't have two MAC's but expect massive Latency)
