Help with a setup??!11

I am looking for a little guidance I have some KRKs and am wondering how I could setup a vinyl player just for listening using the KRKs. What kind of turntable, pre amp if needed, if I should just use a mixer or what the community could tell me to help me out. All advice would be greatly helpful and also extremely appreciated. The KRKs are the Rockit 8s.

Rockits are powered monitors, so you just need a turntable, and a phono preamp. Or a turntable with a built in preamp.

ie AudioTechnica LP120.

You can connect the RCA leads direct from the phono preamp to your Rockits. If you want control over EQ and volume from the turntable, you will need to run the turntable/preamp to a mixer, and connect your rockits to that.
