Have you ever taken under consideration to share/sell your mapping and Lemur template?? The step sequencer via iPad+midi controller is amazing.. I think that it could be possible map another controller with the same mapping...

Definetly thought about it, and that is a possibility, i just still have alot to show and finalize, this is just Faze 1
What you need to realize is that anything you see in my videos can be mapped to ANY controller. Lemur is the most flexible software out there, i dont even think the LERUM guys realize the possibilities of their software. Right now i cant see a scenario that i couldnt program in LEMUR, so if someone has any good ideas let me know im looking for a challenge. And i also have a few ideas for the DJTT community, so Stay Tuned...

I use lemur, but in an easier way... I'm ready to take the next step ... So, correct me, what I have understand is that lemur is the fulcrum of the setup and the step sequencer is managed by lemur?? So after I have you lemur file I can simply map one of my controller/controllers

    If I'm correct..... Simply Beautiful!!!

I'm ready to support you. And I'll continue following this topic waiting for your first official Lemur setup release...
    My iPad is also ready

Exactly the step sequencer is managed only by lemur, you could just use it with the ipad, or have a additional controller for the step seq. that controller then controlls LEMUR. Yes your correct the only downfall if you want the step sequencer, is that a wired connection is needed, so something like the Line 6 MIDI Mobilizer II is needed, and ofcourse a midi in/out port on your computer(soundcard).
If someones got the equipment & the attitude for it and wants to try some stuff out let me know.
    Pippo ill msg u soon

I Have an iPad Air, 2 Xone k2 and a NI controller... My dream is implement the step sequencer in the 16 buttons under the 4 k2s sliders... Super dream implement the step sequencer on the F1.

However, ok... I'm waiting your message

Is there a midi offset when you sync to Traktor clock?

I think yes, it depends probably on the specifics of your Mac/Pc... Like when you synchronize Traktor and Ableton...

Also in this case there is a midi clock synchronization... And maybe could be necessary adjust the Traktor offset to sync perfectly the Lemur's step sequencer with its master clock.

There is a bit of a offset, and a few knicks here and there , but its close enough and solid enough for use ( and it will only get better) , every software that is a Slave drifts a bit eventualy, Its never perfect all the time.

I'm aware of an offset with syncing external sources to midi clock, that's why I asked a question - I thought that your script has some special ability to naturally adjust the tempo over time and keep it in sync with Traktor. MF Twister does a good job to keep things tight, although I don't own a Maschine to compare the two.

I made me a very basic step sequencer mapping for my CNTRL:R and MF 3D which is based on the Freeze Mode output which is always in time since it's synced internaly to the master clock. Not as powerful as your Lemur design because I don't need more than one voice in my mixing but it's super tight if all the tracks are properly gridded. (also would need more free time to expand the possibilities if I needed more voices and patterns)

This concept consumes deck C+D and turns it in to the Traktor sequencer but also solves the offset in the midi sync standards.
