£429 here in the UK, not sure why someone would buy 2 of these when they can get the full unit for an extra £141 .. are they really valuing that 4 channel mixer at £141 ? doubt it. I can appreciate there are different production costs on a whole unit compared to individual units but it's priced all wrong imo... you can buy an X1 and F1 combo and have lots of change... I can't believe i was expecting £299/329

If these were like 350$, I'd bite. $500 is too far off the mark imo. Hell, an S8 can be had for what? $1200? So the S8 mixer is only worth ~200$?

Hopefully I'll be able to try one out at CNTRL and see for myself.

True! I assume with these coming out, there's no future for a Z4 mixer, which might be a smart move on Native Instruments. They will give us the option of a full on controller or just the control surface. Too bad I just cant detach the decks off the S8 and use them with other gear.

If stems actually get picked up I plan on picking up a MIDI Fighter Twister. That thing is basically perfect for stems!

It's perfect! One column per channel and one knob per voice. Stems are only going to have 4 voices so....match made in heaven! ....for a fraction of the price and controls all 4 decks.

Just cancelled my order for a pair of XDJ 1000s. I'll keep my CDJ 800mk 2s and just get a pair of D2s. Saved me a grand and I don't have to struggle to sell my old cdjs!

Completely mispriced. $349 and they wouldn't be able to make enough plus pull people into the Traktor ecosystem.
$399 top for me.
I may just get another X1 because the user feedback on the Rane 2015 has me thinking that plus some controllers is my next setup
