    Normally the bpm is close I find if you do two decimal points is when things get annoying because I've yet to see a program do two decimal points with resolution on the hardware to do it....

    In my opinion you only need to ball park and manually do the rest... There is a downside of being spot on with certain tracks when your dead on you will they bad phasing on the low end....


    Normally with serato stuff when you install SDJ it should automatically update firmware as needed.... Check with the driver control panel and confirm they are running latest firmware... If they aren't there's instructions on getting into firmware reset mode where it'll update itself

    Sync, in my opinion, is great for matching the BPM of the tracks. I don't trust software enough to use it for anything else. And even then, the BPM that the software has for the track can be wrong as well.
    Have not updated the firmware. Still stock from 2010 or whatever
