Default My s2 is being very unreliable

Hey guys, I got my s2 about a month ago. I used it twice for gigs and it messed up both times. I had multiple problems. First problem was my channel two hot cues were not working even after shutting it off and turning it back on. Then an even more annoying issue started to happen. My volume faders were bleeding. Id have my channels completely down and you would still hear music playing through it. As if that was not bad enough it started doing that even when i had stopped the track on the other channel.

What is going on here? I thought these were supposed to be reliable.

Im using a macbook pro with 10gb of ram i5 processor. Running the latest traktor software.

    Thanks Guys

The S2 "is a" single channel sound card relative to the master channel (there is a second channel for the headphone jack). The output of the master channel, if any, is mixed in software. So, any bleed through is coming from the software, not the controller.

There are a few likely culprits.

First, be sure you are using one of the Master connections on the back of the unit. If you are using the RCA connections on the back, be sure the selection is set to "Main" and not to "Booth."

Second, turn off any Fx that are active. One way for sound to continue after the deck is stopped is through the Fx banks.

Third, make sure that the channel faders and cross fader are properly calibrated and actually reach "0" in the software when fully down.

The Channel Two hot cue issue sounds like a mapping issue. Unload and reload the tsi file with the factory mapping. If you are using another mapping, download it again just to be sure that your copy has not changed.

Ok so chances are its software related? Let me try everything you mentioned and see if it helps. Its just weird because it starts off fine then after about an hour of mixing it gets all messed up.
