Click on "New Posts" on the forum bar (where it says "Welcome, #username# New Posts Notifications Settings Community .......)
When it shows the results, you will see under the bar there is a "Search->New Posts"
Click on the "Search" part of it. It will show you the advanced search.

The vbulletin search is not the best, and has been bugging us for quite some time. We are looking into it, until found we have to endure.....
