Build quality is all I care about when buying cables. Cables need to be able to take a bashing.

If I had the time, I'd make ALL my own cables, making sure all joints are good n' tight, and all connections are good n' proper.

I was just about to mention him, I though about ordering a couple of RCA cables from him but somehow never got around it. Where did he go?

He did have a facebook page (MDC Gear) and a website (www.mdcgear.co.uk).

Making your own cables is easy, and not really that expensive. Everything you need can be orderd on eBay (usually from China), and putting 'em together yourself is as easy as soldering the cables to the connectors, and heating the heat shrink around the braid/cables.

I did it for my modded 1210's, and seriously thought about making a bunch of extra cables...

I also have a set of cables from him that I still use on a weekly basis and they've held up really well. He totally disappeared from this forum though, I found him on facebook and messaged him a few times cause I wanted another set but never got a reply....
