if you mean in the midi preferences, yes the 1D's inputs and outputs. When i exported the TSI, i included the midi mapping.
I'm still new digital so sorry if i'm getting this wrong.

sorted it. Because the A8 was not connected there was no output routing. Soon as i realised i assigned the MBP's built in sound and the midi data began flashing from the 1D. The smallest thing eh!
