    what do you mean by faded VUs?

    was thinking of picking up a 43 (non c) but some of this stuff is worrying

    they can be had pretty cheap for like 600 new so it was an appealing option.

    The VU's on the Xone 43 are MUCH MUCH better than American DJ, they're very visible & easy to work with. I've had the mixer for about 6 months now & I absolutely love it, whatever's mentioned in this thread is really not that bad. I would spring the extra few bucks for the "C" mode if you use software, it's very good

    If you need a model with audio interface, sorry but you cannot beat a Denon X1600 And they go for the same price
