You're having problems mapping ROTARY POTS (very different to endless ENCODERS) because the sensitivity/resolution, is far too low to be able to make movements small enough to move one line up or down in Serato's browser.

Keyboard is fine for browsing - use Page Up/Page Down to scroll 1 page at a time, and use the Up/Down arrow keys to move one line at a time.
What mixer do you use ? You have a DVS set up right?

I see it in your profile .... nice mixer. I'd like one of those pioneers myself. Then I could just add a pad later for affects and things

I use a Pioneer DJM-850 - but I don't use any of it's midi capabilities. I just use it as a straight audio (over USB) mixer.

For all my midi needs (browsing/FX/Looping, etc...), I use my ZOMO MC-1000 (other Midi Controllers are available).

If I was going for an all-in-one DVS set-up, I'd either go for an NI Z2, or a Pio S9. Both are rather expensive, though...

    One of my old set-ups was actually a MC-1000 and a DDM4K. That was a KILLER set-up.
    DJ'ing: 2x1200MK2, DJM 850, Dicers, F1, Zomo MC-1000, Sony MDR-v700, i7 Win 10 HP Envy
Production: Ableton Live 8 and a mouse, Sennheiser HD400, Sony VAIO

So you're a fan of the ddm 4K? Did you have and use the Midi on it and was it DVS? Do you recommend I keep it ?

Part of me feels like getting a quality mixer that is a mixer only and a controller like you have instead of trying to manipulate a mixer to be a controller, this just doesn't work as well as something that is engineered and developed specifically for controller purposes.
