Post Newbie Question - exporting rekordbox collection so that Pioneer CDJ2000 sees it?

    Hi
I'm a complete newbie to Rekordbox so forgive me if this is an obvious problem but I really haven't been able to find the answers to this in the Rekordbox manual or anywhere online so far - so here goes.

I have my music library on a USB flash drive - it has been compiled in itunes - there are around 5000 tracks.
I have imported the whole library as a 'collection' into Rekordbox (5.8.7) and now I want to export that rekordbox data back onto the same USB flash drive so that my Pioneer CDJ2000 nexus will load it. I tried using the 'Export Collection in XML format' in the 'file' menu at the top and I saved this file to the same location as the music library folder but when I insert the USB flash drive into the CDJ2000 nexus it does not recognize any rekordbox data (it sees a 'my settings' file but it is completely empty ) . I can access my music library no problem on the CDJ 2000nexus just by navigating to the correct folder , but there is no rekordbox data available.
Can anyone advise me on the correct way to export the Rekordbox collection library so that the CDJ2000 nexus can recognize it? Do I have to export to a different USB drive to where the original music library is? If so does Rekordbox copy over the whole library or just a data file?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Update: Since posting I found a good website (DJPlaza) that explained all the export options very clearly - thanks to the DJPlaza website! - don't really understand why the user manual didn't cover this fully - maybe I missed it..
