If you want to rip mp3 from youtube with high quality, be prepared to pay for it, because no freeware can rip the audio without doing damage to the sound quality.
Still, to pay for a streaming audio recorder is very likely cheaper than youtube premium in the long term.
I think tuneskit music capture would be the best option, because it can record the audio from youtube without sound quality loss. In other words, what you hear is what you get. It also provides a discount now, which can be found here: https://www.tuneskit.com/special/2019-halloween-sales/

Media Human is good and it's also free software!

    Default Rip Audio from Youtube

Great post! I appreciate the insights you've shared here. I’ve found similar tools helpful for downloading and converting media files easily. If anyone’s looking for a reliable YouTube to MP3 Converter, Flvto Click is a solid option worth checking out.

I’ve run into the same situation before — needing the audio from my own YouTube uploads but not trusting those random “YouTube to MP3” sites (a lot of them are sketchy or reduce the quality pretty badly).

If you just want to repurpose your own video, one safe route is to download the video directly from your YouTube Studio (since it’s your content, you can grab the original file), and then convert it to MP3 or another audio format.

For the conversion step, I’d recommend DumpMedia Any Music Converter. It’s reliable, doesn’t carry the security risks of free web tools, and you can choose the output format and bitrate so the audio stays as close to the original quality as possible. Plus, it handles other formats too if you need them later.

That way you can get a clean MP3 of your own mix and re-upload to SoundCloud without worrying about dodgy sites.
